In 2013 she released her debut solo project titled "Gatekeeper EP" on her own Earthling Recordings, which featured 5 original tracks and was co-produced by acclaimed producers Matthew Herbert and David Okumu.

This led to a number five in Japan with the boy band W-inds track Im a man along with a track entitled Used to be released on Sony artist Timothy James's album "Make it happen" She has written and released material ranging from jazz, RnB, pop, house and soul and toured with Roots Manuva and performed with Matthew Herbert's big band, Omar, Eska Mtungwazi and the late Lynden David Hall.
The album features vocals by ESKA (on "Mr McGee", "Medicine Man", "Sleeper", and "The Road"), Martha Tilston (on "Pop Art Blue"), Binki Shapiro (on "Swing" and "Ghost Symbol"), Rowdy Superstar (on "Sleeper"), and Binns himself (on "Everything Up (Zizou)", an homage to French footballer, Zinedine Zidane).
