Kenny Powers is the fictional main character from the HBO television series Eastbound & Down, played by American actor Danny McBride.
In 2006 he released his debut album, The Last Resort; the song "Vamp" from that album was played in Eastbound & Down: Chapter 2 during a dance scene.
The tracks "Into Another", "My Enemy" and "Breakin' Down" were remixed for this album with more tender, slightly cleaner mixes, presumably so they fit more suitingly with the other tracks.
In September 1946, the party put up candidates in the local elections, winning seats in Bangor, Newtownards, Richhill and Ballymena, plus Midgley's seat in Belfast.
The music video for the song essentially depicts the lyrics, and also notably features cameos by then-unknown artists Eve, Ja Rule and Irv Gotti, all of whom would rise to prominence in the following year.
The song reached number two in the United Kingdom, being kept off the top spot by Ricky Martin's "Livin' la Vida Loca", where it was certified Silver for sales of over 200,000 copies.
The first show broadcast on MTV Flux was: Up, Up, Down, Down... (short for the complete Konami Code which serves as its full official title), an hour-long show, hosted by Colin Griffiths nominally about computer games interspersed with music videos and user-submitted content.
It was released on July 3, 1998, featured Peter Gunz and was produced by DJ Quik, becoming Shaq's second straight solo single to feature Peter Gunz and DJ Quik after Strait Playin'.
