It cut one LP, Local Colour which was engineered by Eddie Kramer.
The album was recorded with producer/engineer Eddie Kramer, best known for his work with Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix, and KISS; and was mastered by George Marino, who digitally remastered all of the original Led Zeppelin recordings with Jimmy Page.

The completed song was originally released on the 1971 album The Cry of Love – the first posthumous album of original material compiled by The Jimi Hendrix Experience drummer Mitch Mitchell and engineer Eddie Kramer.
Additional tracks, mixing, & overdubbing were done at New York, New York's Hendrix-founded Electric Lady Studios with legendary engineer Eddie Kramer, better known for his work with Jimi Hendrix, KISS, and many others.
"The album was supposed to have been co-produced by Peter Noone of Herman's Hermits. The idea being that the artist produces the writer. After the first session he didn't show up again, so John and I ended up producing the album with Eddie Kramer engineering."
