She started her education in history at Boğaziçi University and interrupted in 2002, when she began her Bachelor of Arts degree at Bilkent University's Music and Performing Arts Department's Acting Program, in Ankara.

Currently a resident of 86th Street (Manhattan), while her husband Emir Gamsızoğlu is having a concert pianist and composer career in New York.

At the age of 14, she became the youngest actor who was accepted to Ferhan Şensoy Ortaoyuncular's Nöbetçi Theater.
