Egoz (ship) was a Jewish immigrant ship which sank off the coast of Morocco on January 10, 1961.
An Egoz company attacked a suspicious vehicle, apparently transporting wounded Hizbullah fighters to nearby town Bint Jbeil.
In the 2006 Israel–Lebanon conflict, five members of the Egoz Unit were killed and six wounded in Maroun al-Ras and 20 members of Hezbollah were killed.
In 2000 he graduated from the officers' course with distinction and held positions in both Egoz and in the Golani Brigade's 51st Battalion.
