In 1992, the dance band Meat Beat Manifesto produced the song "Original Control (Version 2)" which prominently featured snippets of Elektro's monologues, quoting lines such as "I am Elektro" and "My brain is bigger than yours".
The production of their excellent turntable was then relocated from Wettingen to Lahr’s Gerätewerk (Germany’s labor cost was far lower than Switzerland’s, though quality was on par).
The club is owned by BEEM (Blitz-Elektro-Erzeugnisse Manufaktur) a German electrical appliance company based in Rosbach vor der Höhe.
