North Elmham railway station | North Elmham | Bishop of Elmham |
He retired in September 1909 and was appointed Captain-Superintendent of the Watts Naval School at Elmham, Norfolk, which was owned by Dr Barnardo's Homes.

The earthworks and ruins at North Elmham stewarded by English Heritage are thought to be the remains of Bishop Herbert de Losinga's late eleventh-century episcopal church and the late fourteenth century double-moated castle built on this by Henry le Despenser, Bishop of Norwich.
The attribution was rejected by the early twentieth century and the Vita et Gesta since then has gone by the designation of 'Pseudo-Elmham' (this biography was the main source of the Vita Henrici Quinti by Tito Livio Frulovisi).
