She has appeared in television series' such as Cold Case,Young and the Restless, Katrina and Romantically Challenged, as well as several acclaimed short films including the DGA Student Filmmaker Award winning Akira's Hip Hop Shop (2007).

Her first principal role came in 2008 for a TV movie The Nanny Express.

In 2013 Corinealdi appeared in the short The Door, part of Miu Miu's fashion series Women's Tales, which reunited her with her Middle of Nowhere director, Ava DuVernay.
