Ena Begović

On August 15, 2000, on the island of Brač, a few months after marrying the Croatian businessman Josip Radeljak and a month and a half after giving birth to their daughter, Lana, she was involved (as a passenger) in another traffic accident, a rollover, which claimed her life.

Begović began acting early, making her first screen appearance at the age of 16 through a small part in Okupacija u 26 slika, a controversial 1976 film directed by Lordan Zafranović.

The controversy started as a continuation of a media pumped saga that included Josip Radeljak and his late wife, arguably the most famous Croatian actress of all times, Ena Begović.


The Glembays

It is a period piece set in 1913 in Zagreb (which was at the time part of Austria-Hungary) and follows members of the fictional Glembay family, headed by Ignjat Glembay (Tonko Lonza), a prominent banker, and his second wife baroness Castelli (Ena Begović).
