During his reign, several important events occurred, such as the construction of the Heilig-Geist-Hospital in Enkirch and a war with the Archbishop of Trier, Boemund II of Saarbrücken, which caused high death tolls on both sides.
At the 6.8 km point is Kövenig station, where in the summer months, a passenger ferry runs to Enkirch on the opposite bank.
Its exact extent is only roughly known and it lay in the triangle formed by Enkirch, Koblenz and Oberwesel.
