The locomotives remained on their regular route between Erlau and Wegscheid until the closure of this rack railway in 1963.
Anton Gunther Friedrich Elimar (January 23, 1844 Oldenburg– October 17, 1895 Erlau) was a duke of Oldenburg.
He was soon arrested by Thomas Szalaházy, bishop of Erlau, a close adviser to King Ferdinand I of Hungary.
In 2011, a widely publicized denouncement was made by Rabbi Nissim Karelitz, Rabbi Chaim Kanievsky, Rabbi Yosef Sholom Eliashiv, Rabbi Yaakov Hillel, and rabbis from the Vizhnitz, Zvhill, Sanz, Erlau, and Boyan Hasidic dynasties.
