The project was put on hold due to solo releases from Violent J who was releasing his debut solo EP Wizard Of The Hood, and Esham was preparing to release an album titled Repentance.
Despite featuring guest appearances from Insane Clown Posse and Esham, The EP would go on to be unsuccessful, selling only 8,000 copies leading to Project Born being dropped from Psychopathic.
Following the event, a friend of Esham's handed Joseph Bruce a copy of Esham's album I Ain't Cha Homey, which depicted a clown committing suicide with a gun on the front cover.
