The 2003 German 500 was the fifth round of the 2003 CART World Series season, held on May 11, 2003 on the oval track at EuroSpeedway Lausitz in Klettwitz, Brandenburg, Germany.
It began on 22 April at Hockenheim and finished on 14 October at the same circuit, after nine races including a double-header at Lausitzring.
