Her work was shown at National Association of Women Artists exhibitions, the Art Institute of Chicago, the Denver Art Museum, and the National Museum of Women in the Arts.

Born Eva Drewlow in New Hampton, Iowa, she received the first graduate degree in fine arts granted by the University of Iowa School of Art and Art History (Master's in Graphic and Plastic Arts, 1924).
In 1924 the University of Iowa conferred the first graduate degree "Matser's in Graphic and Plastic Arts" to Eve Drewelowe.
