At the service's conclusion, a band played a dirge and the battalion presented arms as the casket was taken to Evergreen Cemetery for burial.

Evergreen Cemetery is located there, and is the burial place for unclaimed victims of the Jonestown mass killing.
To mark the 30th year anniversary of the deaths, a memorial listing the names of all identified victims, which includes Congressman Leo Ryan, Robert Brown (NBC camera man), Don Harris (NBC reporter) and Greg Robinson (San Francisco Examiner photographer) was unveiled at Evergreen Cemetery in Oakland, California.
Williams died in Rutland on March 9, 1853, and is interred at Evergreen Cemetery in Rutland, Vermont.
Guild died in San Francisco, California and was interred in Evergreen Cemetery in his native Tuscaloosa, Alabama.
He died September 21, 1906 and is buried in Evergreen Cemetery Southgate, Kentucky.
