It was sampled in 2002 by Paul Oakenfold in "Starry Eyed Surprise", in 2004 by The Go! Team in "Everyone's a V.I.P. to Someone" and in 2007 by Mika in his Live in Cartoon Motion DVD.

Michael Sowa

He was the cover artist for several albums, including two covers for The Beautiful South's Miaow and for their single "Everybody's Talkin'."

Summerland Key

Summerland Key was also home to singer-songwriter Fred Neil, composer of "The Dolphins" and "Everybody's Talkin'." Neil died here in July 2001.


Aerial Pandemonium Ballet

With the successes of Everybody's Talkin' and The Point! creating demand for Nilsson recordings, a reissue of his first two RCA Victor albums (Pandemonium Shadow Show and Aerial Ballet), then out of print, was considered.

Fred Neil

Neil gained public recognition in 1969, when Nilsson's recording of "Everybody's Talkin'" was featured in the film Midnight Cowboy; the song became a hit and won a Grammy Award.

Remix album

One of the earliest remix albums was 1971's Aerial Pandemonium Ballet by Harry Nilsson, which was released by Nilsson after the successes of Everybody's Talkin and The Point!, after he decided that his older material had started to sound dated.
