His move was very short-lived, however, as he transferred to Peruvian outfit, FBC Melgar on 31 December 2011, after just 4 goals and 12 appearances in the Venezuelan Primera División.
He then spent some time with FBC Melgar in Peru before returning to Argentina where he played out his career at Deportivo Laferrere in the Second division.

Melgar won its first national title and become the first club outside of the Lima Region to win the title.
He previously played for O'Higgins (2004) in Chile, for 3 de Febrero (2005–06), Cerro Porteño (2007), 12 de Octubre (2007) and Independiente (Campo Grande) (2011) in Paraguay, and for Sport Boys (2008, 2012), San Martín de Porres (2008–09), Melgar (2009–10) and Sport Huancayo (2011) in Peru.
The following season Melgar made Descentralizado history by becoming the first and only team outside the Lima Region to win the national championship.

Only three clubs outside the Lima Province have won a national championship, the first being Unión Huaral (2 titles), the second being Melgar (1 title), and the third being Juan Aurich (1) which are also the only clubs to have won a national title outside the Lima Region.
