FBLA-PBL, a student business organization, held its opening and closing sessions for the National Leadership Conference in 2008 there.
(March 10, 1897 – November 25, 1975) was an American educator and writer who created Future Business Leaders of America, an educational organization for high school and college students, and developed the Forkner shorthand system for taking dictation.
Extra curricular activities at the middle and high school levels include, basketball, football, softball, baseball, cross country, track, volleyball, dance, cheerleading, wrestling, Science Olympiad, FFA, Academic Decathlon, quiz bowl, student council, National Honors Society, drama club, art club, FCCLA, FBLA, glee club, and yearbook.
These activities include Chess Club, Key Club, Builder's Club, Student Council, Art Club, FBLA, SADD, TATU, Marching Band, Concert Band, Jazz Ensemble, Indoor Percussion, Chorus and Drama.
