Denys Sokolovskyi (born 26 March 1979 in Donetsk) is a retired Ukrainian professional football player who played for several clubs in Europe, including FC Metalurh Donetsk and FC Vorskla Poltava in the Ukrainian Premier League, Panionios FC in the Greek Superleague and Pogoń Szczecin the Polish Ekstraklasa.
He would next spend 2.5 years with his hometown club FC Metalurh Donetsk, appearing in two Ukrainian Premier League and a few UEFA Cup matches.
At the end of 2008, B92's sports section announced that Lazić was moving to Ukrainian Premier League club Metalurh Donetsk with a transfer fee of 500,000 euros.
On the 6th of October 2013, Lens scored his first 2 goals in the Ukrainian premiere league in a crushing 9-1 victory over FC Metalurh Donetsk.
After playing an away match on Saturday, 16 August 2008, against rivals Illychivets Mariupol during which Maksym Kalynychenko scored the winning goal in the 66th minute – helping Dnipro win 2:1, he was named by UA-Football as the of the two best attacking midfielders along with Constantinos Makrides of Metalurh Donetsk, of the fifth round in the Ukrainian Premier League.
On 29 July, scoring two goals against FC Metalurh Donetsk, he became the top Dnipro's goalscorer in Ukrainian Premier League of all time with 32 goals, overtaking Oleh Venglinsky with 31.
