Māliņš made his debut for the club on 3 August 2013 in a 5-1 league match victory over Naftan Novopolotsk, playing all 90 minutes and conceding a goal from the penalty spot.
In July 2008, he was banned from refereeing after being found to have refereed a league game between Naftan and Vitebsk drunk.
On 14 September Mirchev scored his first league goal for the club against Naftan Novopolotsk.
One of his most important contributions in recent years was a goals against the Belarusian team FC Naftan Novopolotsk in the Champions League qualifiers.
