Some noted partners LA's Promise has collaborated with are American Heart Association, Amgen-Bruce Wallace Biotech Program, Bresee Foundation, Brotherhood Crusade, California African American Museum, City Year, First Robotics, Girl Scouts of the USA, Operation HOPE, Inc., Run with US, Sound Body Sound Mind, St. Johns Well Child & Family Center, Teach for America, Youth Orchestra Los Angeles, and YWCA.
Clubs include a Harvard Model Congress team (under the umbrella of Early College Model Congress), Guilford Model Congress, Interact Club, Math Team, a Red Cross club, Interact Service club, an active FIRST Robotics team, Academic Quiz Bowl team, Student Council, Student Human Relations Club, EducateUS, Science Olympiad, Speech and Debate Club, Film Club as well as many other arts and interest clubs.
The program placed a special focus on the FIRST Robotics competition, even though it included segments on the FIRST Tech Challenge, FIRST Lego League, and Junior FIRST Lego League.
Science and Technology students have, along with main corporate sponsor General Motors Canada Engineering sponsored the FIRST Robotics team known as Fast Eddie Robotics, or Team 1006.

April 2010: Bobcat Robotics, the South Windsor High School FIRST Robotics team won the FIRST National competition for a second time, partnered with teams from Milford, Michigan and Redondo Beach, California
Starting in 2011, High Tech High's The Holy Cows and Francis Parker High School's the Warlords began hosting an off-season FIRST Robotics Competition.
The Tornadoes 381 FIRST robotics team, from the Applied Engineering & Science Academy, is sponsored by Bristol Myers Squibb, Sarnoff Corporation and Princeton University.
