Baptized the Lagoa do Rolo, it has become the most westerly lake in Europe, although it is considerably small, spawning a small habitat for migrating birds from North America, during the fall (including the Hawfinch and the Hooded Merganser).

Fajãzinha, Cape Verde

Fajãzinha (also in Capeverdean Crioulo, ALUPEC or ALUPEK and Fogo Crioulo (Djarfogo)), is a village located approximately 30 km northeast of the island capital of Sao Filipe, east of Mosteiros and north of Cova Figueira in the island of Fogo, Cape Verde and is one of the northernmost places on the island, Fajãzinha are linked with the road encircling the island.
