Fanling station is located on Fanling Station Road within the Fanling area in North District, New Territories, Hong Kong.
North District currently consists of 25 members, of which the district is divided into 16 constituencies, electing a total of 16 with 4 ex officio members who are the Ta Kwu Ling, Sheung Shui, Sha Tau Kok and Fanling rural committee chairmen and 3 members appointed by the Chief Executive.
