In 2001, when FASA closed, FanPro founded a sister company based in Chicago, although most of its employees worked remotely.

When the Droemer Knaur Verlag and the Schmidt Spiel & Freizeit GmbH published Kiesow's role playing game "Das Schwarze Auge", Kiesow organised the editorial work at FanPro.

He also worked for the German company Fantasy Productions on their version of the BattleTech game, producing art for the Field Manual: Mercenaries, Revised (2003), Handbook: House Steiner (2004), and Classic Battletech Master Rules, Revised Ed. (2004).

Loren L. Coleman

Coleman announced on April 20, 2007 that InMediaRes was in negotiations to acquire the licenses for Classic BattleTech and Shadowrun from WizKids as Fantasy Productions' license was set to expire.
