Khan Bahadur Bakhshi Ghulam Haider Khan (died 1828 AD) was Faujdar of a unit at the time of Battle of Assaye, which was a major battle of the Second Anglo-Maratha War under the command of Major General Arthur Wellesley (Duke of Wellington).
It was ruled by Baloch rulers, Faujdar Khan, later Dalel Khan, before being taken over the Mughals, who made Faujdar Khan, a governor by Mughal Emperor, Farrukhsiyar (r. ca 1711-1716); Later rechristened in 1732, when Faujdar christened himself the Nawab of Farrukhnagar and named the town after the Mughal emperor.
In the year 1714, Ibrahim Khan the Mughal Faujdar of Ghoraghat and Dhaka once again defeated Yanja Narayan an ally of Druk Rabgye the ruler of Bhutan and consolidated territories for the Mughal Empire in Koch Bihar particularly at Karjihat, Kakina and Fatehpur Chakla.
Ali Asghar was Mansabdar (Punj Hazari) Emir and was posted first as Faujdar at Moazamabad; Khidmat Daroghgi Topkhana, a store of Armory (military) at Multan; Naib Subahdar at Azimabad (Patna); and then Subahdar at Awadh during the reign from Farrukhsiyar to Muhammad Shah.
There is another mosque close by, which was built by Sultan Mohammed, son of Malik 'Abdulla Beg, faujdar of Jalna.
