Favoriten is home to the stadium of record Austrian football (soccer) team FK Austria Wien, the Generali Arena.
From 1945 Heinz attended elementary and primary school in Favoriten, a district of Vienna, Austria.
The former Vororte, which have in large parts become as urban as the Vorstädte, now make up Vienna's so-called outer districts (10th to 19th and 21st to 23rd district).
The high points of his artistic work were the productions of monumental silent movies like Sodom and Gomorrah (1922) or Die Sklavenkönigin (1924), both directed by Michael Curtiz, on the Laaer Berg in Vienna-Favoriten.
