The city has one of the few residential training sites of the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC), mostly for the United States Border Patrol, B.I.A. Police and the U.S. Air Marshals.
The FLETC has oversight and program management responsibilities for the International Law Enforcement Academies (ILEA) in Gaborone, Botswana, and Bangkok, Thailand.
Civilian CID agents either attend CIDSAC, or the Criminal Investigative Training Program (CITP) at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) at Glynco, GA.
