Dionizy Feliks Czachowski (born April 6, 1810 in Niedabyl, died November 6, 1863 in Jawor Solecki) was a Polish general and commander of the Sandomierz Voivodeship during the January Uprising in Congress Poland.
Feliks Paweł Jarocki (Pacanów, 14 January 1790 - 25 March 1865, Warsaw) was a Polish zoologist and entomologist.
It is worth to mention that even though most of Sypniewski clan (the ancestors of Feliks Sypniewski) and their estates were located within State of the Teutonic Order at that time, they have supported Polish-Lithuanian King Jagiello and took active part in this battle against Teutonic Order.
For centuries, the village belonged to the Starosta of Sandomierz, and after the Partitions of Poland, it was transferred to the government of the Habsburg Empire, which leased it to several noblemen, such as Karol Kaschmitz, and Jan Feliks Tarnowski.
In the final chapter, Winston Churchil - at the time First Lord of the Admiralty and having recent experience as Home Secretary - arrives on the scene and formulates a comprehensive plan for damage control: Disposing of Feliks' body, hiding that such a person ever existed and regretfully informing the Czar that his nephew died in the fire but had already signed the treaty.
