Wes Fesler (1908–1989), American football, basketball, and baseball player and coach of football and basketball
Caroline Marmon Fesler: The daughter of local industrialist and automobile manufacturer Daniel Marmon (Ray Harroun drove a Marmon car to victory in the first Indianapolis 500 race in 1911), she studied painting in Europe.
James W. Fesler was a well-known scholar of public administration, and the Alfred Cowles Professor Emeritus of Government at Yale University.
In 1934, high-speed photographer "Doc" Edgerton took the now-classic photograph "Wes Fesler Kicking a Football."
