Subsequently, he wrestled in Stampede Wrestling (as the masked Archangel), South Atlantic Pro Wrestling, Pacific Northwest Wrestling and WWC Puerto Rico as the White Angel and feud with Chicky Starr including a cage match at World Wrestling Council.
Champion returned to the United States in 1991 and formed a tag team called The Patriots with Firebreaker Chip in World Championship Wrestling.
