Dallas/Red Rose is situated between the Peguis First Nation and Fisher River Cree Nation about 215 kilometres north of Winnipeg near the western shore of Lake Winnipeg.
Fisher River (Ochekwi-Sipi) is a Cree First Nations reserve located approximately 193 km north of Manitoba's capital city, Winnipeg.
She was laid to rest in Fisher River, Manitoba, beside her husband Arthur, son Edmund, daughter Margaret, granddaughter Holly, great-grandson Barry and her sister, Maggie.
Most residents were temporarily relocated to Winnipeg and a few near Fisher River Cree Nation.
