The Celtic and Irish Cultural Society organise a number of events in Crawley including the Crawley Irish Festival, the Crawley Saint Patrick's Festivities and the Crawley Fleadh.
The Fleadh developed as a mainly competitive event, but it also included many concerts, céilíthe, parades, and sessions.
Paddy Tunney, Bobby Gardiner, Seamus Brogan, 1998 All-Ireland Fleadh runner-up Katherine Burke, Seamus Fay, M. J. O'Reilly, the McPeake Family, Len Graham, Joe Holmes, Micho Russell, Christine Primrose, Audrey Saint-Coeur, and Elizabeth Cronin.
Big Plane, Small Axe, the mis-trials of Mary Kelly, 2005, awarded 2nd Prize for Best Feature Documentary at Galway Film Fleadh, and also shown at Cork Film Festival, Portobello Film Festival, Human Rights Documentary Festival (Glasgow), and the 'Irish Film Festival' (San Francisco).
