She has starred in a television series on TruTV (formerly known as CourtTV), Body of Evidence: From the case files of Dayle Hinman, documenting some of the cases she was assigned to while working as a Special Agent at the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE), since December 2002.
In September 2, 1994, Ruffin was arrested for sexual assault, rendering him a register of sexual offender in Florida Department of Law Enforcement.
