Irvin, who earned fame representing former National Baptist Convention President Henry Lyons on embezzlement charges in the late 1990s, and Charles "Chuck" Hobbs, who later garnered national attention while representing several Florida A&M University students in the "Kappa Hazing" trial televised on CourtTV in 2006.
Previously, he was senior investigative crime writer for the former CourtTV’s Crime Library and Discovery Channel, where he headed the Criminal Report at Investigation Discovery and reported on true crime cases in the news.
She has starred in a television series on TruTV (formerly known as CourtTV), Body of Evidence: From the case files of Dayle Hinman, documenting some of the cases she was assigned to while working as a Special Agent at the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE), since December 2002.
In 2003, Minter gained national attention again when CourtTV aired the entire case of Kantaras v. Kantaras, where Minter represented Michael Kantaras, a transgender man who was trying to keep custody of his children.
It was based on a successful stage play of the same name written by Erik Jensen and Jessica Blank and first aired on the former CourtTV cable television network on January 27, 2005.
