In late 2006, Jauch announced that he would only host the first broadcast of the Four Hills Tournament (from Oberstdorf) and celebrate New Year's Eve with his family.
In 2007, Schreyl hosted the Four Hills Tournament and the fourth season of Deutschland sucht den Superstar on RTL.

Larinto made his World Cup debut in 2007-08, and picked up his first World Cup points in the Four Hills opener at Oberstdorf, Germany on 30 December 2007, when he finished 29th.
Bystøl won his first, and so far only, World Cup event on January 4, 2006, by winning the third event of the Four Hills Tournament at Bergisel.
