Digby Willoughby, 7th Baron Middleton (29 November 1769 – 5 November 1856) was an English nobleman and sailor, the eldest son of Francis Willoughby of Hesley and Octavia Fisher, and grandson of Thomas Willoughby.

He succeeded to the barony on his father's death in 1729 and inherited estates at Wollaton Hall, Nottinghamshire (where he lived) and at Middleton Hall, Middleton, Warwickshire.
During this time he also sent a small colonizing party to Suriname, which established Fort Willoughby (now Paramaribo) in honor of the governor.

Finding a force under the English privateer Robert Searle already looting the settlement there, he put a stop to the destruction and installed a garrison of fifty men to maintain order.

Thomas Willoughby (1694–1742), brother of Francis Willoughby, 2nd Baron Middleton, married Elizabeth Sotheby of Birdsall, and their son Henry inherited the barony and Willoughby estates in Nottinghamshire and Warwickshire from his cousin in 1781.
