2 unusual facts about Frank Sheehan


Frank Sheehan

Sheehan was elected to the legislature in the 1995 provincial election, defeating Liberal Harry Pelissero by about 8,000 votes in the southern Ontario riding of Lincoln (NDP incumbent Ron Hansen was third).

After the 1999 election, in recognition of his experience on the Commission, Sheehan was appointed to continue serving as Co-Chair, from 1999 to 2003, along with MPP Steve Gilchrist.


Red Tape Commission

Originally established as a temporary body, the Commission was re-constituted in 2000 as a permanent body, Co-Chaired by Frank Sheehan and Bob Woods.
