Friday the 13th Part II is a 1981 American slasher film directed by Steve Miner, who also directed its sequel, Friday the 13th Part III.
Interestingly, the head of Bradford Meade in Betty's refrigerator was a parody of Friday the 13th Part 2, where Jason puts his mother's head in the fridge before he kills the last survivor, Alice Hardy, from the first film.
He is best known for his role in the 1981 horror film Friday the 13th Part 2 as Paul Holt.
The first film featured him wearing a newspaper for a mask, inspired by a short story written by Gervasi around 3rd or 4th grade called The Newsroom Massacre and encouraged by the movie Friday the 13th Part 2.
While most slasher movies owe a considerable debt to Twitchs somewhat nonsensical narrative and its emphasis on bodily mutilation, at least one film was directly imitative: Friday the 13th Part 2 notoriously copied two of Bava's murder sequences almost shot for shot: one character is stabbed full in the face with a machete, and two teenage lovers are interrupted when a spear ends up shoved through their bodies.
