Vangsnes is best known as the site of the statue of Fridtjof, who was the king of Ringerike and Sogn according to Friðþjófs saga hins frœkna (Fridtjof's Saga).
Albino Superstars is a small Norwegian band consisting of 2 members; Fridtjof Støre (vocal), and Andreas Schüller (songwriter), both from the small town of Drøbak, outside Oslo.
Now he also plays within the metal band «Dog Almighty» together with Fridtjof «Joff» Nilsen and Kim Nordbæk, and the rock band «El Caco» including Anders Gjesti (guitar) and Øyvind Osa (bass guitar).
