Buckner & Garcia paid tribute to Smilin' Ed McConnell and Froggy the Gremlin on a 1982 novelty song "Froggy's Lament" about the Sega arcade game Frogger from their album Pac-Man Fever with its lyrics "Hiya kids" and "Plunk your magic twanger, Froggy!".
While the creatures of the Forgotten Island are typically enemies to Frogger, Apatosaurus uses his long neck to lift Frogger into the trees and Pterodactyl allows Frogger to ride on his back.
It has two games on it, a game similar to Frogger (which if you lose, shows a boy with a leg cast and a dog urinates on it) and a driving game which you pick a course and drive round it avoiding opponents cars.

Cyderdelic was narrated by John Peel and starred Barry Castagnola (Beetle), Marc Wootton (Su Long), Liam Woodman (Frogger), and followed the trio over two months as they traveled from the May Day demonstrations to the sunrise celebrations at Stonehenge.
The lack of third-party support kept the number of new games very limited, but the success of the Philips Videopac G7000 overseas led to two other companies producing games for it: Parker Brothers released Popeye, Frogger, Q* Bert and Super Cobra, while Imagic released versions of their hit games Demon Attack and Atlantis.
