Gammelholm, the former site of the Royal Shipyard by then partly moved to Nyholm
June 5 – Copenhagen Fire of 1795 breaks out around 3 p.m. at the Navy’s old base at Gammelholm.
April 15 – An act provides for the Royal Danish Navy as well as the Botanical Gardens to leave Gammelholm which is instead to undergo urban redevelopment.
His first work in Denmark, a relief for a pediment and a statue at the naval headquarters at Gammelholm in Copenhagen, from 1739–40, was lost in the Great Fire of 1795.
In 1912, Hafnia relocated to a new building on the corner of Holmens Kanal and Holbergsgade in Gammelholm.
