The Gaspee Days Committee is a civic-minded, nonprofit organization that operates many community events in and around Pawtuxet Village, including the famous Gaspee Days Parade each June.

Gaspee Point

Gaspee Point was the site of one of the first hostilities of the American Revolution where American colonists attacked and burned the British ship the Gaspee near the Point in 1772.
