Heppokomaru / Gasser: A teen boy from Puppu City, he was part of a resistance movement within his hometown against the Maruhage empire, working with his teacher Fundoshitarō (Loincloth Lloyd) to take down local Hair Hunters, particularly Gunkan.
Gasser was professor at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna from 1865 to 1873; among his most notable students were Viktor Oskar Tilgner and Theodor Khuen.

Joseph Gasser Ritter von Valhorn (b. 22 Nov., 1816 at Prägraten, Tyrol; d. 28 Oct., 1900) was an Austrian sculptor.
Gasser received a Bachelor's degree from California State University, Northridge (1988), where he studied composition with Aurelio de la Vega, and piano with Charles Fierro; this was followed by a two-year sojourn in Paris, where he studied privately with Betsy Jolas and at Fontainebleau with Jolas, Gilbert Amy, and Tristan Murail.
In 2007, The Symphony performed a musical tribute to Martin Luther King, Jr. The symphony perform the West Coast premier of Petaluma-based composer Nolan Gasser's "Black Suit Blues".
