Arcadi Gaydamak, Russian-Israeli businessman, father of Alexandre Gaydamak
On 21 July 2009, Gaydamak agreed to sell Portsmouth F.C. to Sulaiman Al Fahim in principle, and therefore stepped down from the board.
According to the Dutch daily newspaper NRC Handelsblad the Israeli prosecutor does not have any proof that the money for the purchase of Thermphos was Gaydamak's.
After he partnered with Gaydamak he sold T-62 main battle tanks, artillery, ammunition, and fighter aircraft to the Angolan government worth USD $500 million.
