Designed by James Stafford, the Georgian Revival style Colonial Revival house was built in 1902.
Notable structures include the home of Elias Ireland (ca. 1820), an early school from 1811 that was rebuilt about 1850, summer cottages from the late 19th century including that of Judge Ira Harris, and Georgian Revival homes from the early 20th century.
The New York County Lawyers' Association Building at 14 Vesey Street between Broadway and Church Street in the Financial District of Manhattan, New York City was built in 1929-30 and was designed by noted architect Cass Gilbert in the English Georgian style for the Association, which was founded in 1908.
