Church of St Hilary

The church was restored in 1861-2 "at the expense of Mrs Charlotte Traherne of Coedriglan" under the designs of architect Sir Gilbert Scott and Reverend John Montgomery Traherne, son of Llewelyn.

Filleigh

It was re-modelled in 1876-7 to the plans of Clark of Newmarket, Gilbert Scott having been consulted on the plan in 1864, in a neo-Norman style, and resulted in the addition of a south aisle, now the "Fortescue Chapel", and chancel in the form of an apse.

St. Giles' Church, Costock

The church was medieval but a north aisle was added in 1848 by G. G. Place and it was restored in 1862 by Gilbert Scott.
