Carolina Morán Gordillo (born December 30, 1987 in Manzanillo, Colima) is a Mexican beauty pageant titleholder who placed as the second runner-up in the 57th Miss World pageant on December 1, 2007 in Sanya, China.
In 1523 Lucas Vázquez de Ayllón had received from Charles V, Holy Roman Emperor a grant for the land explored in 1521 by Francisco Gordillo and slave trader Captain Pedro de Quejo (de Quexo).
Shortly after Gordillo's denunciation, the Mexico City newspaper Reforma published an article that condemned Madrazo as the owner of a luxury penthouse in a prestigious highrise tower in Miami worth eight million pesos ($800,000 U.S. dollars) and three luxury apartments in Mexico City with the alleged value of seven million pesos.
New President Enrique Peña Nieto of PRI proposed a series of educational reforms which were opposed by SNTE, but at the last miute before they were signed into legislation on the 25 February 2013, eventually agreed by Gordillo and SNTE.
