Gordy Ainsleigh completed the Tevis Cup twice on horseback before becoming the first runner to complete it on foot, in 1974.
Gordy Ainsleigh is one of the most well-known ride and tiers, as he also “invented” the 100 mile run (Western States 100 mile run).
