Throughout 1944, the 501st engaged in several battles, including Vitebsk and Gorodok.
During the Nevel-Gorodok operation, from 6 October - 31 December 1943, the Front (which changed names halfway through) consisted of 3rd and 4th Shock, 11th Guards and 43rd Armies, plus the 3rd Air Army.
The airline also has branches located on the properties of the airports serving Belozersk, Kichmengsky Gorodok, Nikolsk, Nyuksenitsa, Totma, Veliky Ustyug, and Vytegra.
On July 15, 1929, Kokshengsky District with the administrative center in the selo of Tarnogsky Gorodok was established as part of Vologda Okrug of Northern Krai.
They passed a little river called Kirtza, near Ozomoys (or Gzomoys), came to Veuslima (?) on the river Witzogda (Vychegda), running into the Dwina, then they stayed in Lawrenskoy ( 3–7 July 1704; possibly Yarensk, known as Yerenskoy Gorodok at that time).
