Gradsko is also the name of the village where the municipal seat is found.
The first motorway runs from the Tabanovce border crossing with Serbia (for Preševo), passing Kumanovo (A2 junction), Petrovec (Skopje Airport) near Skopje (A3 junction), Veles, Gradsko (A5 junction) Negotino (A7 junction), and continuing onto the main border crossing with Greece, Bogorodica-Evzoni near Gevgelija.
Stoboi (nowadays Gradsko), name of a city, from *stob(h) (cf. Old Prussian stabis "rock", Old Church Slavonic stoboru, "pillar", Old English stapol, "post", Ancient Greek stobos, "scolding, bad language");
These are strategically positioned so as to attract custom from outside the village, as Rosoman is one of the only villages on the route between Gradsko - to the north (from where motorists join the motorway for Greece or Skopje) - and the Pletvar mountains, which separate central Macedonia from the important cities of Prilep and Bitola.
